public spaces. My question is this - under what circumstances do private residential
subscribers provide a hotspot? What is the association?

I have a 50mbps Internet for 35$ and tried to connect to twcwifi passpoint but it keep saying connecting I tried my username and my email and twc email and password but didn't work please help

TWC Hot spots locator app is grossly out of date. Most of the indicated businesses that subscribe have been gone for years. Very disappointing. It is as though with all the mergers that much of Time Warner has quit trying to provide any meaningful service.

I accidently made a request to be a hotspot for TWC. I was trying to figure out the TWC wifi finder app. I was trying to get a list of hotspots to connect to. I thought Request a Hotspot on the app was to get a list of hotspots. Instead it was a request to be a hotspot provider. PLease cancel the request or tell me how to do it. Thanks

Months ago, I downloaded the TWC apps to my phone...but found them useless as I already have decent 4g access and because all the hotspots are in usless places (like insurance offices, spas, podiatrists, etc.). However, my android phone is still trying to connect to TWCWifi anytime I get near --- and I keep getting this silly popup
I have removed all TWC apps including TWC TV, My TWC, TWC Wifi Finder.
I have rebooted my phone multiple times.
I have selected to "forget" TWC Wifi spots when they show.
I have selected to not autoconnect to TWC Wifi spots
I have gone into my list of Wifi spots and ensured all TWC spots were removed.
I've done all kinds of things, yet I continue to get that popup over and over as I drive around my town. It's getting really annoying
Is there a fix for this please?
We have TWC internet at home.
We want to be able to use the TWC WIFI hotspots in and around town with our laptop while we are mobile and away from our home signal but it does not appear that the TWC WIFI Finder app is compatible with a laptop. Google Play doesn't indicate so ("incorrect device" when attempting to download, or whatever).
Is there a way to access/use the TWC WIFI with our TWC account information while we are mobile, using our laptop?

Ever since I installed wifi finder on my galaxy s4, I am having a difficult time connecting to non-twc hotspots that require webpage login. It seems that wifi finder intercepts the request to open the webpage and wifi finder tells me I'm connected but I'm not. Takes forever to actually get connected if I ever do. Eventually, wifi finder will tell me that I need to login and shows me the webpage in wifi finder. Then I can log in but this can be up to 5 minutes after I actually try to connect. The page used to just show up in chrome and I'd connect. No more. Uninstalling wifi finder doesn't seem to help now. Anyone have ideas?

I wanted to try the TWCWIFI hotspot and see how it is. There is no TWCWIFI passport available in my list of available hotspots. There is however one TWCWIFI hotspot, BUT this TWCWIFI hotspot has no secure lock on it's wifi icon. I don't know if this is TWC or someone setting up a spoof TWC access point .
Should there be a secore wifi icon with TWCWIFI and TWCWIFI passpot?

The access point located in Hawthorne near 13020 Yukon Ave is not working. It has been fine for a long time, just stopped working from any device a few days ago.
I'm using an iphone 7, I've deleted the profile and reinstalled many times.
On my "choose a network" screen the TWCWiFi, TWCWiFi-Passpoint and CableWiFi NEVER show up.
Any ideas? I'm getting crushed with overages because I can never use WiFi outside of the home.
Is there a reason that none of the hotspots in Charlotte NC will function properly? I have tried hotspots ranging from Meyers Park to Ballantyne - none of them will connect! Every couple of hours I will get about a 5 minute window of wifi and then it goes out again.
They are showing up, but are broken. Fix this.
To begin, I had zero issues with this about 4 months ago.
My laptop will connect to the CableWIFI or TWCWifi hotspot SSID and MAYBE load the first URL I go to, then stop loading anything. It won't let me connect to the Passpoint at all.
However my phone will let me connect to the Passpoint or any of the others, no problem. I can browse freely.
I have tried with 2 different laptops of my own and a friend. Same deal.
I notice that I get assigned an IP address on my laptop, no problem AND I can get to the Spectrum website reliably. Is there a login page that is supposed to come up or something? Is there a URL for such a page? I only get prompted for a login when I try the passpoint and that is thru the Wifi settings on Windows.
